Monthly Recap: April 2013.

Posted by Rowena at 6:00 AM

April was a pretty fantastic reading month for me.  I couldn't get enough of the books that I was reading and all I wanted to do was read some more.  I read a lot of YA and NA last month and a lot of it was great, great stuff.

Here's what I read in the month of April:

Natural Born Angel by Scott Speer|B
Headed for Trouble by Suzanne Brockmann|C
How Zoe Made All of Her Dreams (Mostly) Come True by Sarah Strohmeyer|B
Scandal in Spring by Lisa Kleypas|A
You Are Here by Jennifer E. Smith|C
On Dublin Street by Samantha Young|A
Beauty and the Blacksmith by Tessa Dare|B
Down London Road by Samantha Young|A
The Secret of Ella and Micha by Jessica Sorenson|A
The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden by Jessica Sorenson|A
Any Duchess Will Do by Tessa Dare|B
The Forever of Ella and Micha by Jessica Sorenson|B
The Boyfriend App by Katie Sise|B
Lord of Wicked Intentions by Lorraine Heath|A
How My Summer Went Up in Flames by Jennifer Salvato Doktorski|C
Until Fountain Bridge by Samantha Young|A

My favorite read of the month goes to Down London Road by Samantha Young and The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden by Jessica Sorenson.  Both books were so good and so emotional that I couldn't help myself.  I fell hard for both books and the characters in both stories stayed with me for a long while after I finished both books.  I can't wait for more from both authors.

My least favorite read of the month goes to You Are Here by Jennifer E. Smith.  This is the book that I read with Ames and while I enjoyed it, I enjoyed it the least of all the books that I read last month.

Total read: 16

It's kind of scary to read so many books in a month because when the new month starts off,  I'm not in the mood to read and that's how it's been for me this past week or so.  I'm crossing my fingers that this slight slump goes away.

...and that's your scoop!

See you next month!

Great month! I'm jealous! My reading has been so wonky this year, it's not funny :(

Glad you liked Lord of Wicked Intentions so much, Wena!
